Craig Sward and Doug Quam quickly captured the attention of the children in the assembly with their very impressive and almost unbelievable moves with the frisbee. They were a wonderful example of cooperation and teamwork as they communicated and worked together with an impressive precision. Our students were captivated throughout the assembly not only because of the athletic ability of Craig and Doug, but also by the effective way they relate to groups of children. The frisbee assembly was a wonderful experience for our students.

The instructional video Craig Sward and Doug Quam created on frisbee techniques was extremely well done. Children and adults can enjoy learning how to become more proficient by observing the demonstrations and by following the clear, concise instructions the video provides.

At Monforton School, we consider the opportunity to have an assembly a growing and learning experience. We offer our students a wide variety of presentations to broaden their understanding of the world and all it has to offer. The assembly provided by Doug and Craig, the creators of Heave H.O.E ., certainly fills that role. Our students have been amazed and entertained, while learning about Disc throwing. The more important message that these role models present is that through hard work and dedication, goals are achievable. They encourage the students to take the risk of throwing and celebrate their efforts. Their tools for spreading a very positive message are their skills and tricks with the disc; however, their true talent lies in their encouraging words and work ethic.
We have enjoyed and learned from Craig and Doug. I would recommend them to any school for an assembly.

Craig and Doug presented their Frisbee assembly for our students this past September. The assembly itself included a variety of tosses, techniques, and skills using the Frisbee. Our students thoroughly enjoyed Craig and Doug’s presentation, as well as the abilities displayed by them. I especially liked the fact that part of their presentation actively involved our students.
I feel the most important aspect of this presentation, which Craig and Doug discussed throughout their presentation, was their message, to our students, of trying over and over, without giving up, until you master a new skill, and even more importantly, of encouraging your fellow humans in their endeavors, rather than criticizing them, as they learn new skills. They left 10 Frisbees behind, and we have seen them flying about our playground ever since. This program provides an important message to students, and also provides students with an alternative pastime that is both healthy and fun.

The Motodom.com Frisbee Assembly last week rated a big "A+" with our students. We viewed the video in Freshmen and Sophomore PE classes the same day and worked on Frisbee throwing. Many of the kids were even "skipping" the Frisbee by the end of the PE class.
